March

March is a long month with plenty of time to be productive and creative and it signals the end of Winter (we hope). These are the main craft projects I hope to be working on:

St. Patrick's Day Cat Mini Quilt

Christmas Project for March

April Wall Hanging (I am going to make this with an Easter theme rather than just yellow)

A lacy crochet curtain for the kitchen.

A new shawl.

And various little projects for Easter.

There are special days to be acknowledged or celebrated, mostly with special meals:

Dr. Seuss Day
Shrove Tuesday
Ash Wednesday
Pi(e) Day
St. Patrick's Day
First Day of Spring

And there is spring cleaning to be done, a garden to be prepared, a fence to be mended, seedlings to be started and spring vegetables to be planted. Not to forget cats to be groomed to reduce the amount of hair balls and make them look even prettier. Del will take a week of vacation to help with all that, we sure know how to have a good time, don't we?

I greatly enjoy your blog & especially this one. Where do you find cross stitch & quilting patterns? How do you "encourage" your cats to not jump on kitchen counter, especially when you are cooking?? Thanks for sharing so much of yourself with us. Mary Ann Cauthen in GA
